Getting started with counseling is simple. First, click on the Assessment’s booking, and then complete the intake paperwork and any required consent forms. The initial assessment will be scheduled to gather information about your concerns, strengths, history, and goals for treatment. The counselor will then review the assessment results to evaluate your needs and determine the most appropriate services and treatment recommendations. If counseling services are indicated, ongoing therapy sessions will be scheduled at a frequency that best supports your goals and overall well-being.

Mending Through Discovery and Wellness is committed to making quality mental health services accessible. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available based on household income, family size, and financial need.

Clients requesting a reduced fee may be asked to provide:

• Recent pay stubs or proof of income

• Most recent tax return (if applicable)

• Documentation of government assistance (if applicable)

Sliding scale rates are reviewed annually or whenever there is a significant change in financial circumstances. Reduced-fee appointments are subject to availability.
